Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a very nice example of a US Air Service pilot wing in the Bailey, Banks & Biddle style, although this piece is unmarked. The wing is of relatively flat manufacture out of solid silver with wonderful detail in the feathers.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s.

SIZE:

2.75" wide by .75" high.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with simple C-catch.

MARKINGS:

None.

8+ (Excellent-): Very minor wear and light tarnishing, truly a wonderful example of this wing.
