Description
This is a beautiful World War I United States Air Service pilot wing in the "Dallas" style, attributed to jewelers Bailey, Banks & Biddle. The wings are finely detailed in sterling silver and there is a 14 karat gold US at the center of its shield.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 15/16" in height by 3-9/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with 14 karat gold "US", woven wool-wrapped brass backing plate, nickel findings.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
