This is an early 1920s US Air Corps pilot wing in sterling.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1920s.
SIZE:About 3" in width by 3/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with nickel findings.
ATTACHMENT:Heavy-gauge horizontal pin with a huge, early come-under locking catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine +): Moderate wear and minor tarnishing.
