This is a novelty jacket patch for the United States Navy's VS-23 Anti-Submarine Squadron's landing deck crew. The patch shows a crewman guiding an aircraft onto a carrier.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:4-7/8" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.
