This is a late 1950s Japanese-made jacket patch made for the United States Navy's 8th Helicopter Scouting Squadron. The patch shows a spiked eight ball on a chain resembling a mace being held by a winged scarlet glove.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1950s.
SIZE:4-5/16" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered patch with multi-colored cotton threads with a muslin backing.

CONDITION:5+ (Fine-): Patch has been partially discolored by what may have been a coffee stain.
