This is a circa late 1950s United States Navy's USS Harder SS-568 submarine jacket patch. The patch shows an armed cigarette-smoking fish with a sailor's hat and missile and reads HIT ÔEM HARDER SS 257 SS 568 HIT 'EM AGAIN HARDER.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1950s.
SIZE:About 4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.
