This is a submarine jacket patch for the United States Navy's USS Thornback SS-41The patch is circular and shows a killer whale-turned-submarine and reads SS 418 THORNBACK.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:4" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Canvas patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads with muslin backing.
