Near Mint WWII US Navy Medical Officer Attached to USMC Visor Hat Badge by Vanguard

Near mint WWII United States Navy Medical Officer visor hat badge by Vanguard. It was made for medical officers attached to the US Marine Corps (the officer equivalent of an enlisted "Corpsman"). The US Navy Medical officer was attached to the US Marine Corps and the badge shows an eagle, wings spread and perched upon a US Shield and crossed anchors behind.

Circa WWII.

Approximately 2-3/8" in height x 2-1/4" in width.

Die stamped copper

Double posts with screwbacks and two stabilizer pins.
