ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful World War II visor hat badge for a United States Navy Medical Officer attached to the United States Marine Corps. The badge is by Vanguard of New York.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 2-3/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

VANGUARD NY.
