Mint in Box WWII Vintage US American Campaign Medal

This is a mint World War II vintage American Campaign medal in its original box. The front of the medal shows a ship, sub and a plane against a skyline, and the reverse shows an eagle. The box bears a Heckethorn Manufacturing & Supply Company label.

Circa World War II.

Medal: approximately 2-7/8" in height and 1-3/8" in width; ribbon bar: 3/8' by 1-3/8"; box: 3-3/4" by 2-5/16" by 5/8".

Bronze, silk ribbon, silk-wrapped brass, cardboard box.

Ribbon, suspension ring on medal; horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch on bar.

W on eagle side of medal; STOCK NUMBER 71-M-912-75 HECKETHORN MFG. & SUPPLY CO. LITTLETON, COLORADO on box.
