This is a mint World War II United States Navy PT boat badge by Herreshoff in its original box. Badge is a boat is cutting through the waves and reads Herreshoff and has "PT" on its bow.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Badge: 3/4" height and 2-1/2" width; box: 3-3/16" x 2-7/16" x ½".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver badge; cardboard box with felt insert.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
