ARTIFACT:

This is a mint and beautiful World War II United States Marine Corps Raiders shoulder patch. The "Raiders" formed an elite corps that participated in amphibious warfare starting in World War II. The patch is fully embroidered and has a "smiling skull" at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-1/2" in height and 2-15/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
