ARTIFACT:

This is a mint and beautiful circa early World War II United States Marine Corps 1st Marine Division shoulder patch. The patch is embroidered upon wool and shows a number one labeled GUADALCANAL set against five stars.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-5/8" in height and 3" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool embroidered in cotton/silk threads, mesh backing.
