This is an Australian-made shoulder patch for the United States 1st Marine Division. The patch is diamond-shaped and shows five stars and a number 1 that reads GUADALCANAL.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 3-1/4" height and 2-5/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Blue wool felt patch embroidered in red and white silk/cotton threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
