ARTIFACT: This is beautiful minty World War II USMC 1st Marine Division shoulder patch made of embroidered silk on twill. This is a wide diamond variant patch with red, white, and blue thread, as well as black bobbin thread. There are five stars around a "1" in the center of the patch, with the word "GUADALCANAL" (The location of a Naval Operation and battle) running down the number.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Appr: 3-1/4" x 3"

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Embroidered Silk on twill.
