Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a nice World War II United States Marine Corps Raiders patch. "Raiders" formed an elite corps that participated in amphibious warfare starting in World War II. The patch shows a skull within a red diamond and five stars in the background.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 3" in width by 3-1/2" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered with cotton embroidery thread.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS:

None.
