ARTIFACT:

This is a circa mid- to late 1960s Guard badge for Winthrop Labs of Rensselaer, New York. Winthrop was the pharmaceutical company responsible for creating the famous anabolic steroid known as Winstrol. The badge is numbered 19 and has the Seal of State of New York in relief at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa mid-late 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-15/16" in height and 1-13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin, drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

19 on front.
