ARTIFACT: This is a lovely 1920s United States Air Service sweetheart locket in 12 karat gold fill and mother of pearl. The locket looks like a little hardcover book and has a winged propeller at its center. Inside are two oval depressions for photos.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 5/8" in width (when closed).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 12 karat gold fill and mother of pearl.

ATTACHMENT: Suspension loop; hinge.

MARKINGS: 1-20 12K GF with diamond mark.

ITEM NOTES: The locket you receive will either be the one pictured or one in similar condition. This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX11 LHEX9/11

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The locket is in very nice condition but has some small areas of oxidation on the inside.
