WWI US Air Service Sweetheart Locket in Gilt Sterling Silver & Mother-of-Pearl

This is a World War I United States Air Service sweetheart locket in gold-plated sterling silver. The locket is oval with a twisted, scrolling border and a mother-of-pearl center. A gold pilot wing graces the front and the reverse is reminiscent of filigree.

Circa World War I.

1-3/8" length and 7/8" width.

Gold-plated sterling with mother-of-pearl.

Chain link; hinge to oval back.
