ARTIFACT: This is a World War I United States Air Service sweetheart locket in gold-plated sterling silver. The locket is oval with a scalloped border and a mother-of-pearl center. A gold pilot wing graces the front and the reverse has a nice engraved design.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in width and 1-1/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated sterling with mother-of-pearl.

ATTACHMENT: Suspension loop; hinge.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a sweetheart collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEX94 LHEX7/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The locket shows some light wear and tarnish.
