This is a World War I United States Air Service sweetheart locket in gold-plated sterling silver. The locket is oval with a scalloped border and a mother-of-pearl center. A gold pilot wing graces the front and the reverse has a nice engraved design.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 7/8" in width and 1-1/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated sterling with mother-of-pearl.
ATTACHMENT:Suspension loop; hinge.
MARKINGS:None.
