Late WWII US Army Ports of Embarkation Patch-Type DI

This is a circa late World War II patch-type distinctive insignia for the United States Army Ports of Embarkation. The insignia shows a golden ship's wheel against a red crest.

Circa late World War II.

Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

Gilt brass, enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
