Late WWII US Army Air Forces 10th Air Force Patch-Type DI

This is a circa late World War II patch-type distinctive insignia for the United States Army Air Forces 10th Air Force. The insignia is a winged number 10 with a star above.

Circa late World War II.

Approximately 13/16" in diameter.

Gilt brass, enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch (swivel part of catch is missing).
