ARTIFACT: This is a circa late World War II patch-type distinctive insignia for the United States Army Air Forces 10th Air Force. The insignia is a winged number 10 with a star above.

VINTAGE: Circa late World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch (swivel part of catch is missing).

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VAX12 LEEX11/12

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The DI shows some light wear; swivel part of catch is missing.
