ARTIFACT:

This is a circa late 19th century policeman's billy club made of American chestnut with a great look. The club is uniquely designed, with a broad "business end" tapering down to a section of deeply turned finger grooves at the narrow end.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 19th century.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-5/8" in diameter (at thick end) and 10-3/8" in length.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wood (American chestnut).
