Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa late 1970s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 512th Tactical Fighter Squadron (512th TFS). The squadron served during the late 1970s at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. The fully embroidered patch is Japanese-made and features a fire-breathing dragon and the motto "Vigilare Pro Pace" (On guard for peace).

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1970s.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-1/8" in height and 3-3/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered cotton/polyester threads.
