ARTIFACT: This is an Asian-made United States Navy submarine patch for the nuclear-powered submarine USS Gurnard SSN-662. She was launched from Mare Island in Vallejo, California on May 20, 1967, and served, most notably in the Arctic, until April 1995.

VINTAGE: Circa 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 4-1/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX05 LCHX1/12 SCJX2/17

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The patch is in excellent condition with very minimal wear.
