This is a circa late 1970s pilot hat badge for Air California, which operated out of Newport Beach, California from 1967 until 198The badge has a beautiful red sunburst-like design at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, painted areas.
ATTACHMENT:Three posts with clutch-backs.
MARKINGS:None.
