ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1970s pilot hat badge for Southwest Airlines. Southwest has been flying since 196The badge is in wool felt embroidered in silver bullion.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1970s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 3-1/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool embroidered in bullion thread, plated brass, vinyl backing.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

None.
