This is a circa 1970 pilot cap badge for Iran Air, which has been flying since 194At the center of the wing is the winged Homa, or griffin, from Persian mythology.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970.
SIZE:Approximately 5/8" in height x 3-1/16" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two pairs of bendable prongs.
MARKINGS:None.
