ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1950s stewardess wing 2nd issue for North Central Airlines of St. Paul-Minneapolis, Minnesota. The wing is in the silver color, denoting service of five years or less with the company. North Central was originally begun as Wisconsin Central in 1948, and later merged with Southern Airways to form Republic Airlines. The center of the wing has a blue enameled Canada goose.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 11/16" x 2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Diagonal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing has some areas of light to medium wear and tarnish.
