ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1960s pilot hat badge 2nd issue for North Central Airlines of St. Paul-Minneapolis, Minnesota. North Central was originally begun as Wisconsin Central in 1948, and later merged with Southern Airways to form Republic Airlines. The center of the badge has a blue enameled Canada goose.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 3" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization posts.

MARKINGS: None.
