This is an early 1950s Northwest Airlines pilot hat badge 2nd Issue. The badge is a medallion reading NWA at center flanked by a pair of wings.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 3-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with blue enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing and washer with two stabilizer pins.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LCFJX2/11
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows some light wear and tarnish with one small scuff to the enamel.
