Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa late 1950s pilot wing 2nd issue for North Central Airlines of St. Paul-Minneapolis, Minnesota.. North Central was originally begun as Wisconsin Central in 1948, and later merged with Southern Airways to form Republic Airlines. The center of the wing has a blue enameled Canada goose.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 11/16" in height and 3-5/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

None.
