ARTIFACT:
This is a late 1970's First Issue Republic Airlines flight attendant wing. North Central was originally begun as Wisconsin Central in 1948, and later merged with Southern Airways to form Republic Airlines. The wing is by Jostens and for less than twenty years of service with the company. It shows a lone Canadian goose.
VINTAGE:
Circa late 1970's.
SIZE:
Approximately 3/4" in height and 3" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:
JOSTENS.
