This is a late 1940's United States Army 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment DI made by the German maker Assman. The DI is a crest topped by a horse head with a cactus symbolizing service in Mexico. The DI reads ALLONS (let us go).
VINTAGE:Circa late 1940's.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height 3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:A maker mark (Assman).
