This is a German made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 14th Armed Cavalry Regiment.
The DI is a coppery crest with a royal blue banner bearing a dagger and a coiled serpent.
The DI reads SUIVEZ MOI (follow me).
VINTAGE:
Circa 1948.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height x 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): DI has some light abrasions.
