This is a circa early 1950's United States Army 14th Armored Cavalry Regiment pocket patch in silk and wool felt on a bevo weave backing. The 14th remained in Germany after World War II, performing duties for NATO. The patch is a shield showing a sword and a serpent and reads SUIVEZ MOI (Follow me).
VINTAGE:Circa early 1950's.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/2" in height and 3" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads, bevo weave backing.
