This is a late 1940s - early 1950s USS Badoen Straight CVE-116 patch. The patch shows a hawk flying with a ship in its claws and the background is split between day and night. The Badoeng Straight was an escort carrier that saw service in the Korean War.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1940s - early 1950s.
SIZE:About 3" in width by 3-1/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered with cotton/poly/silk embroidery thread.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
