Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a late 1940s Ð early 1950s senior pilot wing for Northeast Airlines, formerly Boston-Maine Airways. The wing shows the head of a male Pilgrim in red and blue enamel beneath a golden star.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1940s Ð early 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 3-5/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass, enameled areas.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under swivel catch.
