This is a pilot wing for Alaska Coastal Airlines, which flew from 1935 until 1968, when it assimilated with Alaska Airlines. The center of the wing shows a blue enameled flag bearing eight golden stars.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 3/4" in height x 3-1/16" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel, brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.
MARKINGS:SB.
