ARTIFACT: This is a pilot wing for Alaska Coastal Airlines, which flew from 1935 until 1968, when it assimilated with Alaska Airlines. The center of the wing shows a blue enameled flag bearing eight golden stars.
VINTAGE: Circa late 1940s.
SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in height and 3-1/16" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel, brass.
ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS: SB.
