ARTIFACT: This is a large pin from the 1972 20th (XX) Olympiade Munchen. The Summer Olympics held at Munich that year were the first to be held in Germany since the 1936 Berlin Games during the Nazi regime. The pin is a wreath with the Olympic rings at center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1972.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with painted detail.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Olympics collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MAJX14 LGEX6/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin has only light wear and some very small spots of oxidation to the reverse only.
