This is a 1936 Olympic Games multi-colored pin made in Germany. Held in Berlin before the onset of World War II, the Games of the XI Olympiad were riddled with controversy, from the choice of salute each country gave the host leader (Hitler) to the treatment of non-Aryan competitors.
VINTAGE:Circa 1936.
SIZE:9/16" height and 1-5/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with "C" catch.
