This is a large, nicely enameled member badge for the German National Socialist Women's League, the Nazi Party's group for women started in 193The badge is an upside-down triangle in black and white with a red swastika at center and reads NAT. SOZ. FRAUENSCHAFT, and has a beautiful maker's mark on its reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-11/16" in height and 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.
MARKINGS:GES. GESCH. and maker's mark.
