ARTIFACT: This is a nicely maker-marked early (ca. 1930s) Nazi Party pin for German citizens in the Westmark region, bordering upon France. The pin shows a red enameled swastika at center and reads D.V.G. (stands for Deutscher Volksgenossen Bund) WESTMARK (LOTHR.).

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-type pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: W. REDO SAARLAUTERN maker mark on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a pre-WWII Nazi Germany badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBELX14 LHEX7/14 SHEX10/15

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The badge has very little wear.
