Description
This is an early (ca. 1930s) Nazi Party pin for German citizens in the Westmark region, bordering upon France. The pin shows a red enameled swastika at center and reads D.V.G. (stands for Deutscher Volksgenossen Bund) WESTMARK (LOTHR.).
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:About 15/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated brass with red, white, and black enameling.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-type pin with saddle.
MARKINGS:M9 / 318.

CONDITION:6- (Fine): Heavy wear to finish: most of the silver is gone from the front of the badge. A few light scratches in the enamel. Still a very presentable and collectible piece.
