ARTIFACT:

This is a large circa 1900 Fire Police badge for the Neptune Fire District No. 1 of Neptune Township, New Jersey. Neptune Township is within Monmouth County, a part of the metropolitan area of neighboring New York. The badge is in silver-plated nickel and has a handsome patina.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1900.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-7/8"in height and 1-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver-plated nickel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with C catch.
