This is a circa 1910s Wall Fire Co. #1 Special Police badge from Wall Township, New Jersey.
The badge is a predecessor of the "Fire Police" badge, worn by firemen with sworn police powers.
The badge is ornate with nice details.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1910s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.
MARKINGS:None.
