ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1910s Wall Fire Co. #1 Special Police badge from Wall Township, New Jersey. 

The badge is a predecessor of the "Fire Police" badge, worn by firemen with sworn police powers. 
The badge is ornate with nice details.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an early New Jersey fire police badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDX12 LACEX1/14 SAJJX11/27/20

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some areas of light to moderate wear.
