Description
1910's - 1920's Harmar Township Volunteer Fire Department Company #1 badge from Cheswick, Pennsylvania. The center of the badge is convex and displays a few fire department emblems, including a hat, hook, and ladder. The is an eagle perched atop with wings spread and head bowed and the badge reads: "HARMAR TWP. NO. 1 FIRE DEPARTMENT" and shows the number: "53" at the very bottom.
VINTAGE:Circa 1910's - 1920's.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/16" in height x 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel plated nickel with black painted details.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with 'C' type catch.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, much of the plated and some of the painted details remain, overall excellent condition.
