This is an extremely large and boldly decorated circa late 1940s or early 1950s Taxco belt buckle in sterling silver with keeper. It was made by the Garcia Brothers (HNOS) in Taxco, Mexico's "Silver Capital". The zig-zag and dot pattern is cut-out rather than engraved.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1940s to early 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 4-5/8" in width and 2-5/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Keeper.
MARKINGS:GARCIA HNOS TAXCO HECHO DE (made in) MEXICO DE STERLING 0925.
