This is a late 1940s sterling silver belt buckle for AVENSA (Aerov??as Venezolanas Sociedad Anonima), a Venezuelan airline that flew from 1943 to 200The buckle is by Hickok of USA and shows a winged medallion at its center bearing the silhouette of South America.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1-15/16" in width and 3/8' in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with painted areas.
ATTACHMENT:Buckle.
MARKINGS:HICKOK USA STERLING ZN-ALLOY.
