This is a patch for the United States Air Force 56th ARW (Air Weather Reconnaissance Squadron). The patch shows a radar screen with a buzzard dressed as an aviator at center.
VINTAGE:Circa Korean War.
SIZE:2-7/8" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Black twill patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads with mesh backing.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBBX95 LFJX6/10 SFJX7/12
CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Patch shows some moderate wear along edge and has one small spot of discoloration.
